The Unwanted is a Kentucky-bred force of outlaw country, southern rock, and Americana, bringing together the grit of the holler with the muscle of Southern rock and the soul of old-school country. Fronted by songwriter Brandon Falin, The Unwanted was born from a simple idea: make music that sounds like where you come from and tells the truth about where you’ve been.

Rooted in Kentucky and inspired by artists like Waylon Jennings, Ronnie Van Zant, and the outlaw country tradition, The Unwanted blend gritty guitars, swampy grooves, southern storytelling, and hard-earned emotion into a sound they call “Swampadelic Rock ’n’ Roll.” Their songs aren’t built around clichés—they’re about real roads, real people, heartbreak, hard times, freedom, and the pride that comes from knowing exactly where you belong. From stripped-down country ballads to full-throttle Southern rock, The Unwanted bring an unmistakable Kentucky identity to everything they do.

With their independent spirit, relentless live shows, and a growing catalog of original music, The Unwanted are carving their own road through the modern country and Southern rock scene—one song, one stage, and one hell of a story at a time.

They’re not trying to fit in.
